New Orleans police announced Thursday an arrest in a murder that happened nearly a year ago.
Detectives say 18-year-old Shawayne Sanders shot 39-year-old Jose Presieado on March 30, 2012.
The attack happened in the 6800 block of Cindy Place. Presieado was found, dead, in the driver’s seat of a silver Nissan Altima.
He’d been shot in the body.
According to police, a witness positively identified Sanders as the killer.
