Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report begins with the search for whoever shot and killed a man in the Milan neighborhood.
On September 3, William Eleby was shot near the corner of Foucher Street and South Saratoga. Police say he was able to run to Amelia Street where he collapsed and died.
On Saturday, October 11, Eleby’s family is organizing a prayer vigil at the site where he died. You can show your support by attending the event or by phoning in a tip to CrimeStoppers that leads police to Eleby’s killer.
Wednesday’s report also included the search for thieves in a series of laundry detergent thefts from the same store.
According to the NOPD, two men stole detergent from the Dollar General store at 230 North Broad Street. Days later, a man stole more laundry detergent from the same store.
Police released surveillance video of all three men connected to the case.
