NEW ORLEANS, LA.(NOPD)
The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male wanted in connection with a Property Snatching that occurred on August 1st, 2015, near the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Burgundy Street.
At around 8:20 p.m., the 60 year old female victim was in the 900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue when she was approached from the rear by the unknown suspect.
At this time, the suspect snatched the female victim’s purse from off her shoulder.
The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as a black male with a dark brown skin complexion, in his mid- thirties, about 5’10” tall, and medium length dreadlocks.
He was wearing a dark shirt and dark gym shorts.
