They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Tell that to LSU who just found out their famous “Ode to Tiger Stadium” was stolen.

The school found out North Carolina State copied their ode nearly word for word and added their own music to promote their basketball team.

The ABC affiliate in Baton Rouge, WBRZ, talked to Dan Borne who wrote his “Ode to Tiger Stadium” in 2010.

LSU didn’t trademark the poem, but Borne believes the poem is LSU’s property.

According to WBRZ, LSU has no plans to file suit, and NC State’s promotional video has disappeared from the internet.
