BATON ROUGE, La. (WGNO) – There’s a myth going around the internet saying LSU fans smell like corn dogs? Where did this come from? How did it come about?
According to the internet, the myth started about 9 years ago from an Auburn fan, but over the years other SEC teams have continued to make the ridiculous claim, teasing LSU and the smell at Death Valley in Baton Rouge.
LSU fan, Mike Serio said he heard the myth but says there’s no validity.
“Corndogs? We don’t even eat corn dogs. I can’t even remember the last time I ate a corn dog. Those fans from other teams are just being idiotic,” Serio said.
