NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison and City officials honored dozens of NOPD officers for their outstanding work in the line of duty at the 2016 Spring Awards Medal Ceremony.
The ceremony was held at the NOPD Training Academy on the campus of the University of New Orleans.
“Our officers put their lives on the line every day to keep the residents and visitors of our city safe,” Harrison said. “I am proud to recognize their dedication and devotion to duty and I am honored to present them with these well-deserved awards.”
