NEW ORLEANS, La. (WGNO) – The NOPD has named 19-year-old Ronnisha Kelley as the suspect in Saturday night’s stabbing inside a Bourbon Street club.
Investigators say the the 35-year-old victim was inside “Funky 544” with a friend when she got into a verbal altercation with Kelley.
It was at that time that detectives say that Kelley pulled a sharp object from her boot and stabbed bot the 35-year-old and her friend before running out of the club.
Both women were transported to the hospital for treatment of their wounds.
Officers were able secure surveillance video from the club that they used to identify Kelley as the suspect.
