NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Crimestoppers announced Tuesday that they have upped the reward money from $10,000 to $35,000 leading to an arrest for the deadly shooting of HANO Officer, James Bennett Jr.

45-year-old, Bennett was found in his patrol car shot multiple times, near Erato and Freret Streets last May.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is putting the additional $25,000 to up the reward.
