NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)– Positive Sky is back for the second year, echoing the passing of Prince, and paying tribute to the music legend. Music lovers came out to Jazz Fest Saturday and Sunday dawning purple for the late icon.
“I think it’s great that everyone is paying tribute to prince because he was such a inspirational and creative person, and very spiritual person so seeing the messages in the sky was really wonderful” said remarked major Prince fan, Xiomara Brewster. On Sunday, people from all walks of life celebrated Prince.

On Saturday his symbol dawned the sky, along with his name, and 1999.

Sunday the word PURPLE added to the nearly cloudless canvas.

“I think it’s a good thing to pay tribute to such a wonderful artist. I think everyone will feel his loss, it’s such great music it’s such a sad thing we lost him. He made a major impact on the music industry” said Chloe Breaux.

Next weekend the message of love will be displayed for headliner Stevie Wonder, so we expect a lot of marriage proposals.
