NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Taylor Taitt, an 18-year-old male who graduated from Edna Karr in May, has been arrested by the NOPD and booked with rape, voyeurism and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
The incidents happened on January 19, 2015. A 16-year-old girl said that she may have been sexually assaulted without her knowledge when she stayed at her friend’s house in the 6000 block of Bamberry Street in Eastern New Orleans.
“One of her friends mentioned that Taitt confessed to drugging and having sex with her, then bragging about how she wasn’t able to handle him sexually,” a detective wrote.
Over the course of the investigation, the detectives decided that Taylor Taitt was, in fact, the one who sexually assaulted the victim, which led to his arrest.
This morning, July 9, 2015, Taylor Taitt turned himself in and was booked accordingly.
