NEW ORLEANS — NOPD is working a double shooting at the corner of St. Mary and Magazine streets.
Witnesses said a gun fight erupted outside of a clothing shop at the corner of Magazine and St. Mary in broad daylight.
An employee at the neighboring Stardust salon was outside on a break when the gunfight happened and was shot. The Stardust employee is in stable condition.
James Alexander, 25, has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
