TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) – The Louisiana State Police working with the Department of Homeland Security seized 15.6 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of $468,000 on Friday.

The Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations (Houma Division), Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border Protection, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Thibodaux Police Department made contact with a plane flying out of Brownsville, Texas and landing at the Thibodaux Municipal Airport in Terrebonne Parish.

Once the plane landed, state police say the 29-year-old pilot was extremely nervous, but granted permission for authorities to search the plane.

Inside John Crow’s luggage, troopers and agents discovered 15.6 kilograms of cocaine and $2,090.

Crow was arrested and booked with intent to distribute cocaine, and transactions involving drug proceeds.

Police detectives also seized the currency and airplane in Crow’s possession.
