Confessed killer Steven Hardrick will serve 30 years in prison for five killings.
A federal judge approved the plea agreement Wednesday morning.
Hardrick was a suspect in the murder of NOPD detective Thelonious Dukes and another man.
He was also a suspect in a double murder stemming from a carjacking and the death of a witness in another case.
