NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A local creative agency and software engineering firm have teamed up to create a New Orleans themed emoji keyboard app!
It’s called CityKey – New Orleans. The keyboard app was created by Hop & Jaunt and CotingaSoft.
The app features 50 emojis that show off local phrases and ideas.
For example, you can say goodbye by using a character of an alligator waving goodbye with the words ‘see you later’ on it.
There are also emojis like a crawfish, a to-go cup, and shrimp boots.
App creators hope to have the app live on the Apple app store later this week during NOLATech Week.
