14 inmates charged in shocking OPP video

A spokesman for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office has confirmed to WGNO News that 14 inmates face a nine-count indictment related to the controversial videos taken inside Orleans Parish Prison.

The videos show OPP inmates drinking beer, using illegal drugs and guns and cellphones.

The indictment itself, along with the names of the inmates, is expected to be made public later today.
