The Municipal Auditorium in Armstrong Park hasn’t reopened since Hurricane Katrina, but there’s a lot of history still inside.

In the ’80s and ’90s it was the place to go to see pro wrestlers when they came to New Orleans. We looked in our vault and found this classic Real New Orleans story from 1991, showing what it was like to hit the mat in the auditorium.
