METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Crowds came out to welcome the Krewe of Athena as she made her way through Metairie.
This year the all-female crew featured 22 floats and a signature throw, custom decorated fedoras.
The parade started at the intersection of Bonnabel Blvd and Nero St. and made it’s way to Houma boulevard near Clearview shopping center.
