NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – People in Uptown woke up to an only-in-New Orleans pothole fix Thursday as several large potholes in the Maple Street area were filled with oyster shells.
Richard Campanella took the below photos and shared them on Twitter. According to Twitter, Campanella is a professor at Tulane University.

No one knows who filled one pothole on Hillary Street and about four more on Maple Street overnight. But not everyone is happy.
