NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The NOPD is looking for a 15-year-old in connections with multiple armed carjackings, armed robberies and attempted armed robberies reported across the city over the past several days.

Authorities have identified the suspect as Ryan Davis.  They believe he is a suspect in the following incidents:

Saturday, May 28: The victim told police that she was parked in her 2007 black Pontiac G4 coupe in front of her boyfriend’s residence about 8:20 p.m. when she noticed a black sedan drive past twice. On the second pass, the car stopped in front of her and two unidentified man carrying handguns came out demanding money.  The victim was then forced out of her car.

Sunday, May 29:  At about 3:22 a.m., two victims were sitting on the patio of a home in the 3700 block of Banks Street when a black sedan pulled up. The victims told police that an unknown black male armed with a semi-automatic weapon exited the vehicle and demanded the property. The victims complied and the subject fled.

At about 3:33 a.m., four victims were in the 2500 block of St. Philip Street when a vehicle occupied by five unknown black males pulled up. The victims said three unknown black males exited the vehicle and demanded money. The victims said they then threw $100 on the ground, the subjects then picked it up and left the scene.

At about 6 p.m., NOPD Seventh District officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart store located at 6000 Bullard Avenue for a call of an armed carjacking. The victim told police that in the store’s parking lot, an unknown black male armed with a handgun approached her and stole $30 and the victim’s silver 2009 Toyota Camry car before fleeing in the vehicle, followed by a black sedan. The vehicle stolen in this incident has been recovered by police.

Wednesday, June 1: At about 6:25 p.m., NOPD Second District officers were dispatched to the 8500 block of McKenna Street to investigate an attempted armed robbery with a gun. When officers arrived, the male victim told police that he was standing in front of his residence with his wife and opening the trunk of his vehicle when another vehicle, described as a silver four-door sedan, pulled up next to him. The driver, described by the victims as a black male, asked him to come closer. The victim refused, at which time the driver brandished a black semi-automatic handgun. The victims fled the scene and called police. The silver vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction.

At about 7:15 p.m., NOPD Second District Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported armed robbery in the 8700 block of Spruce Street. When officers arrived, the victim told police that he was placing tools in the back of his van when an unknown subject approached from behind, placed a handgun into his side and demanded his wallet. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in a silver two-door car with tinted windows.

The investigations into each of these incidents are on-going and detectives expect to connect Davis to additional reported armed robberies. Detectives are also working to identify additional suspects in these incidents.

The NOPD does not regularly provide information on juvenile suspects, but the Louisiana State Children’s Code allows law enforcement to identify juvenile suspects who are wanted for a felony-grade delinquent act.
