HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — A craving for crawfish landed two men in hot water.

Houma police said they got a call to Danos Exxon on Bayou Black Drive early Tuesday morning (April 25).

When they arrived, they found a lock in the back of the business broken and $250 worth of crawfish gone.

Surveillance video showed two men, later identified as 45-year-old Richard Buck and 34-year-old Joshua Robichaux, both of Houma, at the store.

Houma police quickly identified the suspects due to an earlier traffic stop. Buck and Robichaux were pulled over in a Geo Prism for riding slowly through a neighborhood near Peach Street.

Police started a search and found the vehicle and the two men in the 900 block of Grand Calliou Road.

Both men were arrested for unauthorized entry of a place of business.

Buck is also facing charges in connection with outstanding warrants for failure to appear in the 32nd Judicial District Court.

Oh, and the crawfish were recovered.
