THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) – The Thibodaux Police Department has announced the arrest of two men for the 2014 murder of Lillian Alexis.
27-year-old Bruce Johnson and 30-year-old Anthony Ayrow have both been charged with 1st-degree murder in her death.
Detectives say that around 8:25pm on December 26th, 2014, Alexis was shot to death during an armed robbery of the Tiger Drive convenience store where she worked.
They went on to say that evidence in the case led them to Johnson and Ayrow.
Both men are currently behind bars, held without bond, awaiting trial.
