JEFFERSON PARISH, La.- For more than a year, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office worked with the FBI to nab members of the notorious “Harvey Hustlers Gang.”

On Thursday, they announced the indictment of 21 of the gang members for their involvement with racketeering, drug violations, attempted murder and murder.

According to JPSO, all but three of the gang members have been arrested.

“These arrests make a significant impact to the quality of life of Jefferson Parish.  These guys were impact criminals that disrupted the quality of life in Jefferson Parish day in and day out,” Sheriff Newell Normand announced.

Normand says the “Harvey Hustlers” controlled a large portion of the drug trade on the West Bank and are responsible for several homicides.
