NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – An NOPD officer was injured today in a motorcycle crash.
According to NOPD, the crash happened this afternoon at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Lakeshore Drive.
Police said a pickup truck veered into the motorcycle’s lane of travel, sideswiping the motorcycle.
The officer was taken to an area hospital. NOPD says the officer’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
